Meet the Hunger Games Dolls
MANILA, Philippines - Four dolls recreating the characters of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (to be shown in theaters nationwide starting today) were issued by Mattel under the Hollywood and Pop Culture Collection. All were designed by Bill Greening.
1. The Katniss Everdeen Doll — Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, the doll sporting a long braided hair, is dressed in a futuristic body suit with knee pads, elbow guards and short boots. Slung across her shoulder is a quiver of arrows and carries a silvery bow. Released on Oct. 7, 2013.
2. The Peeta Mellark Doll — Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, the doll wears the same outfit as that of Katniss. A golden locket hangs from his neck. Released on Oct. 7, 2013.
3. The Effie Trinket Doll — Elizabeth Banks as Effie, the doll dons a fashionable metallic blue dress accentuated with gold collar and belt and wears a set of metallic net gloves. Released on Oct. 7, 2013.
4. The Finnick Odair Doll — Sam Claflin as Finnick, the doll is clad in a zipped jacket with a golden-and-white stripes and matching pants, and holds a ‘trident spear’ as an accessory. Released on Nov. 1, 2013.
