A rock battle at Festival Supermall

MANILA, Philippines - Filipinos are known to be gifted with so much musical talent. Our local acts have proven both here and abroad that we can compete with the world’s best singers and bands. That also means that there are dozens of undiscovered acts waiting for their star to shine and for them to prove their worth. If you are one of them, head down to Festival Supermall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City as it holds the grand battle on Nov. 23 at 4 p.m. You and your band can win P20,000 in cash.

The X-Site Battle of The Bands is open to all amateur groups of four to six members regardless of age and gender. To register and get one of the 35 slots reserved for each elimination day, come to the X-Site Area at the third level of Festival Supermall on or before 2 p.m. with the following requirements: Registration form, band profile form (both available at the Amusement Office at the third level), a non-refundable registration fee of P500, and one band photo comprising of all the members performing. Each group’s performance (including set-up and sound check) must be limited to a maximum of six minutes. Five bands per elimination day will be chosen to make it to the Grand Battle at The Grills of South Station.

Two more bands also have a chance of making it to the grand battle by buying Festival Supermall Amusement Center ride tickets during the elimination day. The band with the most number of tickets bought per day qualifies for the battle.
