Billy, Coleen fire back at critics: ‘Wala nang makakababa sa akin’

MANILA, Philippines – Billy Crawford shot back at netizens who continue to maliciously link him to “It’s Showtime” co-host Coleen Garcia.

A photo of Billy and Coleen together in “sweet” poses when they were in Bacolod with other “It’s Showtime” hosts became viral recently. This is after Coleen was tagged as the alleged third party in Billy’s breakup with Kapamilya actress Nikki Gil.

“Hindi naman scandal yung nilabas ko. Saka hindi lang kaming dalawa yung nasa Bacolod. Andun si Vice (Ganda),” Billy said in a taped interview with ABS-CBN’s showbiz talk show “Buzz ng Bayan” on Sunday, Oct. 3.

The 31-year-old actor-TV host added he “just have to enjoy being single” right now.

“People can be such hypocrites and they can say whatever they want to say. You know what, wala nang makakababa sa akin,” he said.

Billy further said, “I’m on a natural high. I’m in a much better state.”

Meanwhile, in the same taped “Buzz ng Bayan” interview, Coleen stressed that she and Billy are merely “workmates.”

“Sasagot na lang ako pag nagparamdam. Pero sa ngayon, wala naman,” Coleen said on romantic rumors about her and Billy.

She added, “I think it’s too early for that. Kakagaling niya lang sa relationship."

“Ako naman, I just feel like I need to breathe. So ang dami kong ginagawa now. I’m always trying to better myself as an artist, as a person.”

Coleen broke up with Gab Valenciano earlier this year after the dancer left for the United States to study.

As for the endless talks tagging her as the one responsible for the Billy-Nikki breakup, Coleen said:  “Ako na lang palagi ang third party. Yun naman ang akala nila e, na ahas ako. Pero ang masasabi ko lang, hindi.”

She added: “Ang masasabi ko lang sa mga naninira sa akin, I don’t blame you. I just feel misjudged. God bless you na lang. “
