MANILA, Philippines - It was an oppurtunity to bond and give back as Bodog Nation held its first ever sports festival.

Their opening ceremony was held last Oct. 19 at the Ynares Sports Center in Pasig City.

To make the event more memorable and to give back after their company’s success, they’ve invited celebrities to entertain and to give gifts to some kids from Gawad Kalinga Quezon City community.

With the help of Calvin Ayre Foundation, the five female celebrities namely Kim Chiu, Rufa Mae Quinto, Michelle Madrigal, Ryza Cenon, and Valerie Garcia made these kids smile.

The event started with a parade introducing the competing teams for every sport. (L-R) Michelle madrigal, Valerie Garcia, Rufa Mae Quinto, and Ryza Cenon were muses for the four basketball teams that will compete for the sports festival.

After the parade, everyone was given the chance to take a photo with Valerie, Michelle, Ryza, and Rufa.

The kids who were on the bleachers were shouting their name, hoping that they will glance their way.

After the cheering competition, Rufa, Michelle, Ryza, and Valerie (not seen in the photo) helped in giving loot bags to the kids from Gawad Kalinga Quezon City Community.

Bodog’s surprise for the kids that day, aside from the loot bags, is Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu.

Kim did a song and dance number in the tune of “Titanium.”

Kim said she was flattered to be invited by the company to entertain the kids. “Masaya ako na napangiti ko sila,” she said during the interview.

Kim has been one of the celebrities who were active in helping different communities, especially those that caters to kids.
