Bubble Gang turns 18

Ver Paulino - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - GMA Network’s longest-running gag show, Bubble Gang, is celebrating its 18th anniversary, and the “debut party” will continue tomorrow night with more surprises and exciting production numbers. Through the years, the show has retained its comedy stronghold by continuing to evolve, making Friday nights a fun way to start the weekend.

Dubbed Bubble Gang Debut 18, the show will feature more gags, skits, commercial spoofs, dances, musical videos and song numbers shot at the Diamond Hotel in Manila and Republiq Club in Resorts World Manila. Michael V, who is still unbeatable when it comes to portraying many zany characters, will lead the celebration with Rufa Mae Quinto, Antonio Aquitania, Boy2 Quizon, Diego Llorico, Moymoy Palaboy, Jackie Rice, Gwen Zamora, Sam Pinto, Paolo Contis, Mikael Daez, Andrea Torres, Max Collins, Sef Cadayona, Myka Flores, Isko Salvador and Betong Sumaya.

Adding flavor to Bubble Gang’s anniversary special are Bagong Gang cast members Joyce Ching, Jan Manual, RJ Padilla, Juancho Trivino, Arny Ross and Denise Barbacena. Viewers will have a superb laugh trip as Michael V portrays all-time favorite characters as PNoy, Mr. Assimo, Tata Lino and the mother in the Ikaw at Ang Ina segment. Meanwhile, Rufa Mae together with the Bubblets, composed of Gwen, Sam and Max, will heat up the stage with sizzling dance numbers. The show is directed by Uro Dela Cruz with headwriter Caesar Cosme.

Celebrate with the Bubble Gang barkada in their Pajama and Cotillion Party tomorrow night after Akin Parin Ang Bukas.
