Banana Split, Toda Max air anniversary episodes

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Two of ABS-CBN’s comedy shows are celebrating their anniversaries, as Banana Split enters its fifth year and Toda Max fast approaches its second year —bringing two huge celebrations of fun-filled nights and laughter along with some of the entertainment industry’s well-loved personalities as guests for the festivities and the show’s resident comedians upping their comedy games.

Following unexpected events that they encountered while on a trip to Bohol, Banana Split is still very much alive, as its cast and crew’s love for bringing lighthearted laughter remains to be very much intact.

As proof, Banana Split: Extra Scoop takes on yet another hilarious performance set today bringing smiles to the faces of the Filipino audience.

The month-long anniversary celebration of Toda Max starts today as the show guests artists from the music scene. Joining Vhong Navarro, Angel Locsin and Ai-Ai delas Alas in the upcoming episode will be Fliptop sensation Bassilyo, rock bands Callalily and Chicosci and 6Cyclemind vocalist Tutti Karingal. Atoy Co will also be joining in on bringing the laughter.

Toda Max will also feature its own Banda Rito, Banda Roon, and the people of Beverly Gils will be required to form their own musical group to participate in the competition.

Under the lead of Justin (Vhong), members of the community gather to form a band, pitting themselves against other bands from rival barangays.

Toda Max airs back to back with Banana Split: Extra Scoop after I Dare You Saturday nights.
