FOX Channel’s triple treat for viewers

MANILA, Philippines - FOX Channel has a triple treat for their Asian viewers as they serve three of most-watched US TV series.

First in the list is the much-awaited Season 4 of the zombie hit series “The Walking Dead.” This series, which was based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard, garnered a viewership  of 12.4 million during its Season 3 finale.

That’s why FOX prepared another treat for the show’s avid viewers. Starting Tuesday night, Oct. 15, at 11:40 p.m. until Oct. 19, at 8:55 p.m., there will be a marathon of “The Walking Dead” Seasons 1 to 3.

Next on the list is their new series, “S.H.I.E.L.D.” which is a spin-off of the 2012 movie  “The Avengers.”

The story will revolve around Agent Phil Coulson, which is played by Clark Gregg, and his team whose members will be portrayed by Ming-Na Wen, Vrett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge.

Agent Phil and his co-agents will discover other superhumans like Iron Man, Captain America and Thor, but will later find out that not all of them were on the good side.

This series is created by Joss Whedon, the director of “The Avengers,” together with Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen.

Last but definitely not the least is “Sleepy Hollow,” which is another new series for FOX .

This TV series is inspired from Washington Irving’s short story, “The Legend of Sleepy Hallow.” On its modern twist, the TV series will narrate how its protagonist Ichabod Crane died in 1781 after he killed the Headless Horseman.

But then he awakens and finds out that the Headless Horseman is back, and once again is wreaking havoc in the town of Sleepy Hallow.

These three shows will all air on Oct. 19 on FOX: “The Walking Dead” at 8:55 p.m., “S.H.I.E.L.D.” at 9:50 p.m. and “Sleepy Hallow” at 10:45 p.m.
