A Kapatid night to remember

Following TV5’s Weekend Do It Better and Everyday All the Way campaigns, the big launch for the network’s new program line-up got a stellar boost as Kapatid stars converged for an evening of camaraderie with TV5 management and key officers, led by chairman Manny V. Pangilinan.

It was a memorable evening for all who trooped to the Meralco Light House despite warnings of inclement weather. The Kapatid get-together was a manifestation of the network’s commitment to its viewing public to give the best of its production efforts and creative resources for programs that edify and celebrate the life, culture and soul of the Filipino.

TV5 president and CEO Noel Lorenzana ushered in the evening’s festivities with an inspiring message. “We’ve started with on our plans for the upcoming year for the network. Behind the scenes and what you don’t see is a lot of effort, discussion and debate as to how the network can be better. Being new in the industry, we’re excited for a new beginning and future for TV5. Rest assured that we have not rested on our goal to be better than No. 3,” he shared.

For all of us staff and employees of the Kapatid network, the work never ceases and the continuing challenge again is to be the Filipino viewers’ station of choice wherever he or she may be in the world. This is the North Star that guides us through the thin and thick of the broadcast industry, allied with some the country’s best and outstanding talents that made the night truly memorable.
