Award for Mike

MANILA, Philippines - The COMGUILD Center for Journalism recently named Mike Enriquez (photo) as this year’s Outstanding Public Servant in Broadcast Media. Enriquez, who co-anchors GMA 7’s flagship primetime newscast 24 Oras and hosts the hard-hitting public affairs program Imbestigador, was chosen by the organization’s board members for his achievements as a public servant in the field of broadcasting.

The awarding ceremony was held last Sept. 29 during the Sixth Annual Conference of Criminology and Political Science Students of the Philippines at the AFP Theater in Quezon City. The national symposium is set to be attended by over 1,400 students from various colleges and universities in the country.

COMGUILD is an organization that provides alternative learning to members of the academe through international seminars and conferences.
