Bennett brings home copies of The STAR

MANILA, Philippines - When Tony Bennett left a day after his PICC concert Tuesday (Sept. 17) last week, he brought with him copies of The Philippine STAR featuring him in Conversations with Ricky Lo, given to him by Renen de Guia (in photo with wife Cel) of Ovation Productions which produced the concert.

Tony’s dear friend Minda Feliciano was all set to come and surprise him during his show. However, a last-minute hitch prevented her from leaving London. This I learned from Becky Garcia (she was at the concert) who was once married to Minda’s only brother who has since passed on. However, the two ladies have remained close friends.
