Financial Komiks Book Kaching! Kaching! launched Sept. 21

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Kaching! Kaching! will be launched on Sept. 21, 4:30 p.m. at UP Balay Kalinaw, Guerrero cor. Dagohoy Sts. University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.

Kaching! Kaching! is a financial literacy Komiks Book published by BayanKomiks and is anchored on the theme, Matalino ang Pilipino (the Filipino is Intelligent).

The breakthrough book was a result of painstaking work by creative, innovative and young professionals who believe in the power of komiks as a powerful tool to integrate education and business into commercial success.

Kaching! Kaching! is “the sound of money that you save and  invest wisely.” It aims to teach every Filipino how to manage, budget and make hard-earned money earn more money.

The book’s 25 stories were inspired and culled from the lives of both real successful people and individuals who initially failed but rebounded mightily from valuable lessons.

The illustrated stories come with all-important tips on financial terms, budget equations and investment options.

Part of the proceeds from the book launch will go to the Curia Sancti Rosarii (CSRI), Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Politics (PPCRP) and Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).

Below is the book’s foreword from Dr. Dante Velasco, a writer, newspaper book reviewer and public relations guru, who was a former Undersecretary of the Department of Telecommunications and Communications.
