Festival Mall choral tilt winners

MANILA, Philippines - Coro Andreano of St. Andrew’s School, La Huerta, Parañaque City celebrates as the grand champions of Festival Supermall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City’s Awiting Kay GLEEng choral competition held last Aug. 11 at the mall’s second level Carousel Court. With the theme ‘A celebration of Original Pilipino Music,’ the contest invited non-professional vocal groups from different schools and barangays in the south to battle it out by performing a repertoire of OPM songs. The group received P20,000, plus an additional cash prize of P5,000 for the school it represented. Southernside Montessori High School Choir and Muntinlupa Vocal Ensembles placed second and third, respectively.
