Casino Filipino’s Red Letter Sept.

MANILA, Philippines - Expect nothing but superb entertainment surprises this month in all Casino Filipino (CF) venues nationwide as they celebrate Red Letter September.

Bong Quintana, PAGCOR’s AVP for Entertainment, said the September theme was basically intended to make each day of the month special in the different CF branches. “We will not only have a red letter day but a red letter month in our casinos nationwide. Ang gusto namin, mapasaya ang mga guests ng Casino Filipino sa buong buwan ng September, that is our ultimate goal. Those who wish to see their favorite artists perform live can watch our shows for free on a first-come, first-served basis,” Bong added.

The month-long festivities will begin tomorrow, Sept. 4 with the star-studded launching of Red Letter September at various CF branches. Performing on that day are the all-male sing and dance group Masculados (CF Angeles); balladeer Jun Polistico (CF Bacolod); singer Renz Verano (CF Davao); R&B soul singer Mau Marcelo and Kat Loria (CF Hyatt); former Pinoy Dream Academy finalist Ronnie Liang (CF Mactan); magician Kent Oliver (CF Olongapo); and comedian-host Arnel Ignacio (CF Pavilion).

On Sept. 6, the Red Letter September merrymaking continues as Casino Filipino offers topnotch performances of Isabel Granada in CF Cebu; Renz Verano at the Lancaster Arcade; Eva Eugenio at the Iloilo Arcade; and Pinoy folk rock band Asin in CF Tagaytay.

To add more excitement to the activities, CF branches will stage the CF Game Show featuring celebrity artists. Luke Mejares will be at Airport Casino Filipino on Sept. 17; Asin in CF Hyatt on Sept. 11, while Andrea del Rosario is the featured artist in CF Olongapo on Sept. 13.

Other performers are Carmen Soriano who will bring the guests of Lancaster Arcade down memory lane on Sept. 13; Ciara Sotto who will delight casino patrons and guests in CF Pavilion on Sept. 19; and Eva Eugenio who will perform her jukebox hits at CF Mactan on Sept. 19.

Seasoned comedians will also hit the Casino Filipino stage this month. Brod Pete and Long Mejia will brandish their unique humor and wit at the Iloilo Arcade on Sept. 20, while Bayani Agbayani is expected to bring the house down in CF Bacolod on Sept. 21. Sharon Cuneta’s impersonator Ate Shawie will delight casino guests of CF Davao on Sept. 27.

Other scheduled musical shows feature Renz Verano in CF Angeles on Sept. 25; Mau Marcelo and Kat Loria in CF Tagaytay on Sept. 27; and Ronnie Liang in CF Cebu on Sept. 28. 

Apart from the CF game shows and celebrity shows, Casino Filipino will also feature fashion shows featuring the winners of Miss Casino Filipino 2012. Designers Ariel Agasang and Gerry Katigbak will showcase their finest runway collections on Sept. 5 in CF Hyatt; Sept. 7 in Airport Casino Filipino; Sept. 14 in CF Angeles; Sept. 18 in CF Pavilion; and Sept. 27 in CF Tagaytay.
