Juris tops jazz chart in Singapore

MANILA, Philippines - Star Records artist Juris (photo) has captured the hearts of international listeners as her international album Dreaming of You recently topped the jazz chart of Singapore’s popular record bar label, HMV.

Now tagged as the Soothing Voice of Asia, Juris also conquered the digital market as her album made it to the list of top albums in iTunes Thailand and was one of the featured albums in iTunes Asia. Juris bested local Singaporean singers and even Grammy winner Norah Jones.

Presented with high fidelity mastering, Juris’ Dreaming of You was co-produced by Star Records and well-known Singaporean recording company S2S. The 12-track album features her soothing renditions of well-loved ballads including Janet Jackson’s Again, Bryan Adams’ Everything I Do (I Do It For You), Olivia Newton John’s I Honestly Love You, Diana Ross’ Do You Know Where You’re Going To, Celine Dion’s I Love You Goodbye, Don’t Say Goodbye, Say You Love Me, If Wishes Came True, If You And Me, Wishes and carrier single Dreaming of You that was originally sung by the late Latin singer Selina.
