MANILA, Philippines - We can acquire diseases in many ways — through the food we eat, the environment and even from the bacteria-filled droplets when the person beside you sneezes. But many diseases and bacteria are carried by trusty pets and animals we take care at home. This month, MedTalk looks into the various diseases we can get from animals — from the virus your cute dogs and cats might be having to other infectious diseases from your farm animals.
