Exhilarating showdown in Sunday All Stars

MANILA, Philippines - You’re in for a rollercoaster ride of emotions in today’s episode of GMA 7’s Sunday All Stars as the competitive artists tackle their preferred choice of Emosyon.

According to judge Joey de Leon, last week’s best team performance award came down to a choice between Aljur Abrenica’s Ligang iLike and Sef Cadayona’s Tweethearts. In the end, Aljur and his team took the win, and the proud leader also shared the Best Performer award with Sef.

Also, the two seriously talented Best Performers will open the emotion-laden show.

After receiving rather lackluster comments from the judges last week, Tropang Trending promises to rise again, choosing “happiness” as the overall theme. Will Rachelle Ann Go be able to claim her first victory, along with her team?

Instagang also gained little favor from the judges. This time though, the group will show its feistier side with the theme “anger.” Team leader Winwyn Marquez will push Instagang into becoming more competitive this time around.

Tweethearts chose the emotion “gratitude.” How will team leader Sef show his team members’ talents while also proving that they are more than just the novelty performers that they have been known for? Sef has a few surprise guests up his sleeve, guaranteeing a different touch this week.

As for Ligang iLike, “hunger” will be the driving force behind the performance. Will Aljur be able to prove that he is not just a one-win wonder?

Judges Janno Gibbs and Jaya will be joined by Kuh Ledesma and Joey. Kuh and Jonalyn Viray will also regale us with the much-loved anthems from My Husband’s Lover.
