Bingo party for 3 B-day ladies

MANILA, Philippines - For a change, the barkada decided to perk up its regular get-together by not just sharing sumptuous dinner (of mostly native delicacies such as laing, adobong baboy at manok, lumpiang sariwa, etc.) but holding a bingo game with potluck prizes (P100 for two cards) such as a bagful of Champion (the laundry soap being endorsed by Susan Roces), a loot bag of various goodies, an Eat, Bulaga! jacket (won by your Funfarer), etc.

Held last Saturday night at the Sampaguita Garden (a good part of which is being converted into a venue for socials like birthdays, weddings, debuts and the like), the get-together was to celebrate the birthdays of Ethel Ramos (Aug. 1), Lilibeth “Betchay” Perez-Nakpil (who gave away shawls) and Regal Martriarch Mother Lily Monteverde (Aug. 19).

Like when the barkada treated Susan to a surprise dinner at her daughter Sen. Grace Poe’s house last July 27 (Susan’s birthday was July 28), Aling Maliit Ryzza Mae Dizon came (courtesy of her manager Malou Choa-Fagar) and spent her whole one hour with the elders completing her coloring book. After having her pictures taken with her senior fans, Ryzza promptly bade every body goodbye. She and her mom Rizza with some relatives are staying at a condo near the GMA Studio, and it’s more convenient and time-saving for them.
