Behind the scenes of Titser

MANILA, Philippines - Enter the remote and often muddy set of GMA News TV’s new original series Titser in a special behind the scenes primer episode airing tonight at 7:15. 

Interviewed on set in Boso Boso, Antipolo, Titser’s lead Lovi Poe (photo) admits she has never tackled a more challenging role. “The truth is, this is the most difficult role I have ever portrayed. I have to do justice to this part because it’s for the teachers, but it’s so difficult to teach,” says Lovi. 

She had particular difficulty simplifying math lessons for children in her teaching scenes. 

Titser also required her to shoot in the rain and walk long distances in very difficult circumstances. â€œWe have a scene here where I have to climb hills and cross rivers. And the bathroom was so far away!” Lovi shares with a laugh.

Titser is the first television project of Lovi upon signing a new three-year exclusive contract with GMA. She plays the lead Michelle, a smart but poor high school student who dreams of teaching.
