What completes Lovi?

When the Kapuso Network recently launched Lovi Poe as La Primera Aktresa as a plug for her new soap Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas (with Cesar Montano, Helen Gamboa, Gary Estrada, Solenn Heussaff, Rocco Nacino, Ina Feleo, Charee Pineda and Tiya Pusit, directed by Laurice Guillen) which premieres very soon, some people were clueless whatever that meant. Aktresa must be a new word in the ever-growing showbiz vocabulary.

I take it to mean that Lovi is an all-around actress who can play sweet and innocent or seductive and daring whether in movies, TV shows or pictorials, and she can get away with it with flying colors. She has awards to show for it: Best Actress for Sagrada Familia from the FAMAS in 2010 and Best Actress for Mayohan in the Cinemalaya 2010.

She’s in the cast (Paulo Avelino, TJ Trinidad and Benjamin Alves) of Sana Dati for the ongoing Cinemalaya, directed by Jerrold Tarog who’s competing with four other directors (Gil Portes for Liars, Cesar Evangelista for Amor y Muerte, Adolf Alix Jr. for Porno and Jeffrey Jeturian for Ekstra) in the Directors Showcase category.

And what “completes” La Primera Aktresa?
