Online showbuzz: Have Nikki and Billy broken up?

MANILA, Philippines – Are they still together or are they already over?

The Internet is abuzz with reports that Nikki Gil and Billy Crawford have called it quits.

An online showbiz gossip blog first alleged earlier this week that the couple are no longer together.  According to the blog, the decision to break up was mutual, although Billy tried to save the relationship.

On Wednesday, July 24, TV personality and showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz tweeted about the reported split.

Kalungkot naman. Break na ang mga labs kong sina @nikkigil at Billy Crawford. Sana, friends pa din para naka-smile pa rin sila.

Ogie has worked with Nikki on the defunct ABS-CBN showbiz talk show “Entertainment Live.”

Billy and Nikki admitted their relationship in 2009 and, as with any showbiz couple, have been hounded by breakup rumors.

The alleged ex-sweethearts have yet to give a statement regarding the recent reports of their breakup.
