Filipino Economics graduate is in final two of The Apprentice Asia
MANILA, Philippines – An Economics graduate from the University of the Philippines will vie for the prize of a one-year contract with a salary of at least $100,000.
Jonathan Allen Yabut is one of the final two contestant in The Apprentice Asia and should he win, he could find himself working for Tony Fernandes, the show's host and Group Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia.
Yabut, who works as a senior product manager in the pharmaceutical industry, will be competing against Singapore's Andrea Loh Ern-Yu in a two-part finale that will be shown on AXN on July 24 and 31 at 9PM.
The inaugural season of the Asian version of the reality show made popular by Donald Trump saw 12 contestants competing in a series of challenges that test their business acumen and decision-making.
Another Filipino, food and beverage consultant Celina Le Neindre, was "fired" in Episode 7 but was offered a position at the Philippine office of Air Asia.
