Candy’s B U repeat at Teatrino

MANILA, Philippines - Catch Candy Pangilinan in the much-awaited repeat of her hit stand-up comedy show Candy’s B U on July 20 at Teatrino (9 p.m.). Candy’s B U is written and performed by Candy herself and directed by Andrew de Real.

The show focuses on Candy’s urban adventures as a single mother, comedienne and actress. The show also offers insightful and hilarious commentaries on such issues as modern dating, traffic and technology.

It should be noted that this series is Candy’s grand comeback as a stand-up comic since her successful crossover to mainstream show business. “I miss preforming on stage,” says Candy whose training comes from her days as a theater actress in the University of the Philippines. “I feel a different thrill every time I perform before a live audience. We can all expect the unexpected and anything goes. It gives me more room to improvise and interact with my audience.”

Joining Candy as her special guests are upcoming all-girl group AKA JAM from the first season of X-Factor Philippines and other surprise guests.
