Celebrity Idol champ

MANILA, Philippines - Last July 7, Glee Nette Gaddi, a 15-year-old fourth year high school student at the University Sto. Tomas, was declared grand champion of Celebrity Idol, a competition part of the 36th anniversary celebration of Celebrity Sports Plaza.

Glee Nette never ceases to give honor to her school. She won the Young Thomasian Idol in 2011. She was also the Yamaha Philippines Grand Prix champion and gold medalist at the World Championship of Performing Arts also in 2011.

Celebrity Idol’s first runner-up is Jianna Elis Gerial, second runner-up is Margaret Gretel Manalac and third runner-up is Janine Luz Danielle Baduria.

Members of the board of judges were Luke Mijares, Dr. Danny Ang, Kat Zalazar and Jessica Fernando. The show was hosted by Dionisio Averilla and lawyer Dot Gancayco.
