Richard, Maricar wed in hush-hush Christian wedding

“I’ve never seen a happier couple,” said somebody who witnessed Richard Poon and Maricar Reyes swap “I do’s” at a hush-hush Christian wedding attended mostly by family members last Sunday, June 9, at Bellevue Hotel.

The bride and the groom shed no tears and instead broke into wide smiles as the guests gave them a heartwarming applause at the end of the ceremony.

Jose Mari Chan who, with his wife Maryann, stood as one of the ninongs (together with the uncles of both Richard and Maricar’s), dedicated the song Please Be Careful With My Heart to the newly-weds in a duet with Nikki Gil who hosted the affair with Christian Bautista.

“It was one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever attended,” added the guest (earlier quoted). “Well-attended by family members and close friends.”

Among the other guests were ABS-CBN big boss Charo Santos-Concio, Star Magic head Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan and Mickey Muñoz (of The Filipino Channel/TFC).

The wedding capped the four-year romance of Richard and Maricar. The Funfare Update source didn’t say where the honeymoon would be.
