Musikat Jam: All roads lead to Resorts World Manila

MANILA, Philippines - Resorts World Manila (RWM) gathers world-class talents from here and abroad for its weeklong musical extravaganza, titled Musikat Jam, from June 1 to June 8.

The line-up of concerts and performances will take the audience on an aural journey through various music genres. 

The festivities will start on June 1 with a roster of theater icons — Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, Bo Cerrudo, Shiela Valderrama, Tanya Manalang, Gina Respall, Pinky Marquez, Michael Williams and Cris Villonco — taking on the stage for Musikat Jam’s first installment, Some Enchanted Music: Broadway Hits Concert.

On June 4, top jazz acts will converge for All That Jazz with Arthur Manuntag, Lynn Sherman and Bituin Escalante. 

Meanwhile, international opera artists are scheduled to perform in Best of Opera on June 5, namely, Japanese soprano Mako Nishimoto, US-based tenor Adam Diegel, Maria Rachelle Gerodias, Arthur Espiritu and Andrew Fernando.

Touted as “Siren of the Strip,” Lani Misalucha, on the other hand, will hold her comeback concert One More Time, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on June 6.

Other Musikat Jam acts are rock icon Bamboo Mañalac for Rock with Bamboo on June 7 and Malaysian singer-songwriter Eric Moo with his Come Back to You concert series on June 8.

Musikat Jam is RWM’s weeklong ultimate offering for music lovers.
