TFC charms more Careful viewers

MANILA, Philippines - Right on the heels of Be Careful with My Heart’s success- ful concert tours in Los Ange- les and Florida, TFC shares the thrilling moments of the well- loved series to more view- ers worldwide via its sub-titled version. Inspired by the success of TFC’s first sub-titled series Maalaala Mo Kaya Clas- sics, the network brings yet another top-rating content to non-Tagalog-speaking view- ers in the US, Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia and other parts of Asia.

Be Careful With My Heart

has captured the hearts of viewers worldwide with its simple yet endearing tale of a barrio lass Maya dela Rosa, played by Jodi Sta. Maria, who falls in love with a family and its patriarch in what appears to be a side trip to her journey towards her dream. The romantic at heart seem to have gushed at every interface of Maya with her employer Sir Chief Ricardo Lim (Richard Yap) in each episode shown on TFC’s plat- forms since July last year.

Starting yesterday in the US, Canada, Middle East and Europe and today (May 26) in Japan, Australia, New Zealand and other parts of Asia, the translated version‚ Be Careful with My Heart Rewind looks back at how Maya started to pursue her dreams of becoming a flight stewardess. Swindled by her recruiter, Maya decides to

keep her bad fortune from her family and tells them that she has left the country. She literally stumbles across Sir Chief and Abby Lim (Mutya Orquia) at the airport when she provides comfort to Abby who got into the luggage carousel.

The week after, Sir Chief offers Maya a job as a nanny to Abby. In the episode, she discovers that aside from Abby, the rest of the children, Luke (Jerome Ponce) and Nikki (Janella Salvador), seem to have not moved on from the death of their mother (Sunshine Cruz). On the June 7 (Pacific,

Riyadh and London time) and June 8 (Tokyo and Sydney time) episodes, Maya realizes that the family’s happiness in- deed has “died” with the fam- ily matriarch and tries to bring them close as one family again. Maya seems to be hitting high in terms of bringing the family together but seems to be falling in love with Sir Chief despite his elusive charm.

On June 14 (Pacific, Riyadh and London time) and June 15 (Tokyo and Sydney time), Maya, in one of her attempts to bring the children close to their dad, remembers her own family. In a call she makes to her mother (Sylvia Sanchez) and her sister Cristina (Aiza Seguerra), Maya nearly reveals her real location.
