GRR-TNT goes on a food trip

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Ricky Reyes is not just a jetsetter; he is, likewise, a food enthusiast. During his trips abroad, he does not fail to visit restaurants known for yummy and oftentimes, exotic cuisines.

Stay tuned to the GMA News TV show Gandang Ricky Reyes Todo Na Toh (GRR-TNT) today at 9 and join host Ricky as he hops from one Asian diner to another — in the Philippines!

First stop is Chinatown in Binondo. “Everything you love to eat in China and Hong Kong are served to you in the restos along Ongpin Street. All rare fish and fowl, plus exotic ingredients you wish to eat, are flown direct from Hong Kong and China so all items in the menu are authentic,” describes Ricky.

Next stop is Eng Bee Tin where the host-producer’s long-time friend Gerry Chua demonstrates how to make mooncakes and tikoy as well as some healthy yet delicious Chinese recipes handed down from one Yap generation to another.

Check out Indian restaurants if  you want something peppery or real hot.
