A bevy of Binibinis lights up Araneta Center Santacruzan

MANILA, Philippines - No less than 40 Binibini title-holders and runners-up, led by 1981 Bb. Pilipinas International Peachy Sacasas as Reyna Emperatriz, graced the grand Santacruzan of the Araneta Center last Saturday, May 18.

Among those present were reigning (2013) queens Bea Rose Santiago (International), Cindy Miranda (Tourism), Mutya Datul (Miss Supranational) and Pia Wurtzbach (runner-up), together with last year’s winners Janine Tugonon (Universe/Miss U first runner-up) as Reyna de las Flores, Elaine Kay Moll (Miss Supranational runner-up) and Katrina Jayne Dimaranan (Tourism).

The beauties were clad in gowns designed by leading Filipino couturiers.

Highlight of the affair which was part of Binibini’s 50th-year celebration was the Living Rosary feature with the Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish’s pamayanan sagalas side by side with the Binibinis.
