Ramon Bautista likens self to motorcycle
MANILA, Philippines - Best-selling author and Internet celebrity Ramon Bautista shares his insights about being astig and likens himself to a motorcycle unit.
“When you say astig, that means you’re cool, you know what to do with your life,†says Bautista. “And of course, it’s not only about the looks or being pogi, but also your attitude in life,†he adds.
According to him, the pogi attitude is feeling good about one’s self, “You are handsome if you believe in yourself. It’s really about being proud of who you are.â€
A self-proclaimed pogi, Bautista also says that being astig is not something you brag about, rather, it’s what people see in you, which comes out naturally. He explains that what others see — what you do, what they hear from you — is what makes you astig.
He then compares himself with the new Hayate 125 FI from Suzuki Philippines. He shares, “I’m like the new Hayate 125 FI, dependable and powerful in terms of performance, therefore, astig.â€
“Its tagline is power with premium performance,†says Bautista. “Just like me, I bring power with every performance, be it with work or with show business,†he explains.
As a Suzuki Ambassador, Bautista is always present during Suzuki Invasions, the company’s nationwide service campaign. There, he introduces the new unit to the public. According to him, he has grown fond of the new Hayate 125 FI, which is the first fuel-injected offering from Suzuki Philippines.
“Every time I ride on it during events, you can feel that the ride is smooth and steady,†Bautista quips. The Hayate 125 FI’s fuel injection (FI) engine makes the motorcycle operations smoother, resulting in better road performance.
“Once you’ve driven the Hayate 125 FI, you will certainly get interested because of its performance,†says Bautista. “Aside from the engine, the Hayate 125 FI also has an elegant design and is practical in terms of fuel consumption, you will save money,†he adds.
Asked on how other people can be- come astig like him, Bautista shares that confidence is key. One must believe in oneself and have the courage to stand for something. He believes that “everybody has the capability to be astig.â€
