Casino Filipino holds festive events

MANILA, Philippines - As summer continues to sizzle, Casino Filipino (CF) heightens the fun and excitement in its branches nationwide through festive events this month.

PAGCOR’s AVP for entertainment Bong Quintana said the Flores para Swerte theme for this month features a barrage of activities such as the CF game shows, celebrity performances and fashion shows.

“We lined up these events for the enjoyment of our Casino Filipino patrons.

We want them to always come back to our venues not only to play but also to have fun and be entertained,” Quintana added.

Quintana cited that apart from being the season for festivals, May is also the season of Flores de Mayo and Santacruzan.

“Casino Filipino embraces this season by coming up with events that celebrate our local and unique tradition.

We are bringing the ambience of fiestas and Flores de Mayo in our casinos.

Many people also consider flowers as lucky charms.”

Fashion enthusiasts will also be in for a treat as renowned Filipino fashion icons showcase their latest creations in various runway shows.

“During the fashion shows, our Miss Casino Filipino 2012 winners will be wearing the collections of our local fashion luminaries,” Quintana said.

Designer Arielle Agasang will showcase his works at CF-Angeles, today; CF-Tagaytay, May 17; and CF-Hyatt, May 24. Likewise, avant-garde designer Gerry Katigbak will have a show at CF-Pavilion on May 18.

To add more excitement, celebrities will also grace the CF Game Shows to be held in various branches and arcades.

Among the celebrity guests in these exciting game shows are Troy Montero at Mactan Satelite, today, and Carlos Agassi, CF Bacolod on May 18.
