NatGeo’s Freaks of the Sea

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Tonight at 10 on GMA News TV Channel 11, National Geographic Channel’s Freaks of the Sea takes us deep into the oceans of our planet, where creatures weirder than our wildest dreams or our scariest nightmares lurk.

Award-winning underwater cameramen John Boyle and renowned Red Sea specialist John McIntyre have collaborated to produce the wide-ranging blue-chip television special, filmed over several years, portraying some of the strangest underwater creatures from every corner of the planet.

Among the creatures featured is one of the world’s longest animals, a strange snake-like jellyfish, which can grow to well over 40 meters.
