Pinoy hairdressers, impersonators in GRR TNT

MANILA, Philippines - The first quarter of 2013 was hectic for Ricky Reyes and the officers and members of the Filipino Hairdressers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (FilHair) as they conducted regional hair and make-up competitions nationwide where winners will participate in the Fil-Hair Hair and Make-Up Trends 2013.

Aside from the regional winners, the contest will also be participated in by hairstylists, make-up artists and salon owners of Metro Manila. It will take place on May 6 at the Metro Tent Convention Center, Metrowalk Plaza, Meralco Ave., Ortigas, Pasig City. Gates open at 8 a.m. and registration starts soon after.

The over-all champion and winners in the Creative Party Make-Up, Bridal Make-Up, Creative Colors and Men’s Cut categories will compete in the Asia Pacific Hairdressers and Cosmetologists Association (APHCA) event to be held in Kuala Lumpur from Oct. 6 and 7.

Meanwhile, Gandang Ricky Reyes, Todo Na Toh (GRR TNT) features gay impersonators in the episode titled Divadings today at 9 a.m. Imagine the look-a-like and sing-a-like of Regine Velasquez, Pilita Corrales, Eva Eugenio, Imelda Papin and Claire dela Fuente taking center stage donned in their finest and sexiest gowns, fully made up complete with hair styles of their idols. 

There will be a feature on a childless woman who gets pregnant after taking MX3 capsules, coffee and tea extracted from the wonder fruit mangosteen from Davao.

 Ricky launched the franchising of Ricky Superstyle Color Salon early this year and many franchisees are interviewed how their lives changed.
