2012 Mr. International is here for promo/visit

MANILA, Philippines - Ali Hammond, the reigning (2012) Mr. International, is here to drum up the 2013 search for Mr. International-Philippines on June 22 at the San Juan Arena, San Juan City.

“I’m thrilled by the warm reception and the kindness of the Filipinos,” Ali told Funfare in an exclusive interview. “I’m so excited to visit your country’s scenic spots.”

Accompanied by Alan Sim of Singapore, founder and president of Mister International Pageant Limited, Ali paid a courtesy call on San Juan City Mayor Guia Gomez (above, left) and laid a wreath at the Rizal Park (above, right). He also visited the White Cross Children’s Home (right, also in San Juan).

“We are looking at the possibility of holding the Mr. International search in Manila in 2014,” said Sim.

Ali is scheduled to go to Boracay. The trip is touted as “World’s Best Man Meets World’s Best Beach.”

The winner will compete in the 2013 Mr. International pageant in Indonesia in November.
