Koreanovela Queen and I premieres today on GMA

MANILA, Philippines - When past meets present, will there be a future?

 That’s what the newest Koreanovela, Queen and I, will tackle as it premieres today on GMA Telebabad.

Making the summer even hotter is the love story of Regine Choi (Yoo In Na) and Kim Boong Do (Ji Hyun Woo). Kim Boong Do is a scholar and a supporter of Queen In Hyun who travels 300 years into present day in Seoul.

He meets a struggling actress, Regine, who plays the same role as the queen he’s fighting for. As Regine helps him know about the history of his time to change some events, they will start to develop feelings for each other.

Making the story more interesting are the characters of Dominic (Kim Jin Woo) and Sheena (Ga Deuk Hi). Dominic is an actor who has been cast as the lead in the same drama as Regine. He used to be Regine’s boyfriend but left her when he got his break. On the other hand, Sheena is Regine’s manager, friend and housemate. She always looks out for Regine’s best interests, which include the boys who hound her.

Is it possible for Kim and Regine to have a successful relationship despite the time difference of three centuries?

Queen and I airs Mondays to Thursdays after Love and Lies.
