Why Jodi is on Cloud 9

Jodi Sta. Maria is on cloud nine these days because of the unstoppable outpour of blessings in her life. She is now reaping the fruits of her hard work. She has been in the entertainment industry since 1999. Her TV series, Be Careful with My Heart, is skyrocketing in the ratings game. The cast is having a world tour to visit their fans from around the world. 

“Sobrang excited kami. Marami talagang nagre-request na mga kababayan natin sa ibang bansa na pumunta kami doon. Heto na iyong time na mapagbibigyan natin sila,” enthused Jodi.

Aside from having a successful career, Jodi is apparently happy in the love department. She is being linked to Jolo Revilla. It seems like there’s an indication of their “more than friends” status when Jodi posted on Instagram a photo of them having a dinner.

According to Jodi, they had companions but they were cropped from the Instagram photo.

Looks like they have no problems because according to reports, Jolo’s parents — Sen. Bong Revilla and Rep. Lani — approve of their special friendship. 

Jodi and Jolo are now more vocal about their supposed romance. Aside from calling her “love yah,” Jolo openly calls Jodi “love” on Twitter when he congratulated her for being the cover girl of a magazine.

Meanwhile, Jodi opted not to comment and only smiled when she was asked about her reaction regarding the issue that Iwa Moto is pregnant with Pampi Lacson’s baby.

Gerald: Maja is

very special to me

Elusive Gerald Anderson was cornered at the 10th Golden Screen Awards for Television where he won Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama Series for his brilliant performance in the ABS-CBN teleserye Budoy. 

He was badgered with several questions by the press regarding his romance with Maja Salvador. Gerald allegedly rented a helicopter for their Valentine’s date in Tagaytay. Although he remained silent about the issue, Gerald revealed his thoughts. “Alam ninyo iyong feeling na matagal na rin akong single. I found someone na gusto kong makasama, gusto kong mas makilala pa. Masaya ako pag kasama ko siya so bakit ko ipagkakait iyong sarili ko sa ganoon? Like I said, artista ako. Ang trabaho ko ay umakting pero di itago ang relasyon ko.” 

He admitted that Maja is very special to him and like him, Maja also receives bashings from people. “We just have to be strong for each other,” he said. 

Gerald gets hurt with all the intrigues being hurled at him. “Kung ikaw pag may nagsabi sa iyo ng masama, maaapektuhan ka talaga but kailangan ko rin tanggapin (kasi) ito iyong trabaho ko. Part (ito) ng trabaho ko.”  

I still remember what I told Gerald in one of my interviews with him in The Buzz. I told him that he is public. With his career and popularity as an actor come countless brickbats. The moment he became public, everything about him became public. It’s both a curse and a blessing depending on how he views it. 

Gerald was asked to comment about the meeting of Kim Chiu and Sarah Geronimo at the finals night of Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs. The simple meeting became a hot topic on Instagram and other social networking sites because they both have been previously linked to Gerald. “Wala na ako doon. Silang dalawa na lang tanungin ninyo. We should all be happy for each other,” he said.
