MANILA, Philippines - The excitement of summer is going full blast. It is the best time to indulge in activities that spell fun, healthy and adrenaline-pumping.
The Energize Sports & Wellness Festival is set to help everyone get into the action with its wide variety of offers. The event will feature fitness and sports wear and equipment, healthy refreshments, demonstrations and other exciting activities.
SM Men’s Fashion has partnered with Erwin Tagle as it features the modern, active lifestyle wear of Bo Athletics. Tagle is a Mixed Martial artist, coach, a sports commentator and a pro MMA fighter. Fight Form, a special training developed by Tagle, will be featured at the event.
Celebrities of the Ultimate Fitness Gym will also present a mixed martial arts demo of jujitsu, Muay Thai and fight form as they educate visitors on how it all started and the beauty of the sport.
The annual Run Rio Trilogy Awards will recognize running enthusiasts who have consistently made the cut in last year’s Trilogy. A futsal tournament for the men’s open division will highlight the last day of the event. Fitness demonstrations such as Zumba, Yoga, Kettlebell, Plana Forma, Functional Movement Screening, Laporte Archery, wall climbing and other activities will be conducted by Gold’s Gym, Fitness First, Planet Infinity, Philippine Kettlebell Club, Forma Asia and Power Up. Shoot hoops is at the Fiber Kinetic booth, the premier makers of high-quality basketball goals.
With Adidas, Mizuno, Nike Golf, Phiten, World Balance, Stoked, Barefoot Vibram, and many more, great finds at special rates are sure to delight everyone. Product demonstrations will help those looking for fitness equipment to decide on the best buy. A silent auction will also be held for fitness equipment, sports gear and destinations.
Organized by the SMX Event Development Group, Energize Sports and Wellness Festival will run from April 5 to 7 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
