Cascades at Resorts World

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The infectious ’60s pop hit, Rhythm of the Rain, and other staple hits that made The Cascades a household name, are set to sway members of the country’s one-stop, non-stop tourism destination, Resorts World Manila, down memory lane tonight at 8 at the exclusive Taps Genting Club, Resorts World Manila.

Original vocalist John Claude Gummoe (photo), who wrote Rhythm of the Rain which sold over a million copies and ranked No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1963, is slated to perform for VIP members of the integrated lifestyle hub.

Set to wow the audience with more hits such as Angel On My Shoulder, There’s A Reason, The Last Leaf and Shy Girl, John returns to Manila for the ”by invitation only” event, which is in cooperation with Steve O’Neal productions.
