The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Davao City celebrates its 76th Foundation Day, more popularly known as Araw ng Dabaw, and coming to celebrate with the Davaoeños are some of the biggest stars from three Kapuso series — the upcoming Ang Kakambal ni Eliana, Indio and Temptation of Wife.

Ang Kakambal ni Eliana lead star Kim Rodriguez, together with co-stars Enzo Pineda, Kristoffer Martin and Chynna Ortaleza, started their festival participation yesterday with a Kapuso Barangayan and Kapuso Mall Show.

Today, Indio himself, Sen. Bong Revilla, together with co-stars Jennylyn Mercado, Rhian Ramos, Ehra Madrigal and Sam Pinto join the colorful float parade which will cruise along the major streets of Davao starting from Marco Polo-Roxas Ave. to San Pedro St. beginning at 7 a.m.

The Indio stars then take center stage at the Gaisano Mall of Davao for a Kapuso Mall Show at 5 p.m. Merriment continues tomorrow,  March 17 as the two leading men of top-rating primetime program Temptation of Wife Dennis Trillo and Rafael Rosell together with Maxene Magalona hit SM City Davao’s Parking Lot C, 6 p.m. for a Kapuso Mall Show.

Truly, Araw ng Dabaw is the festival to beat with the Kapuso Network making it three times the fun and three times the excitement.

Happening in the Visayas region, meanwhile, are Kapuso Mall Shows. Today at 4 p.m., Carla Abellana, Mike Tan and Kris Lawrence invade Gaisano Island Mall Mactan, while GMA News TV’s first original series Bayan Ko lead star Rocco Nacino and Barbie Forteza take SM City Cebu Event Center. Tomorrow, another Kapuso Mall Show is set at Robinson’s Place in Fuente with Luis Alandy and Max Collins.
