STAR columnist at Valencia lectures

MANILA, Philippines - Towards a More Responsible Entertainment Media will be discussed by Ricky Lo, STAR Entertainment editor and host of GMA 7’s Startalk, in this Friday’s 25th Teodoro F. Valencia Lecture Series on Journalism and Mass Communication.

The lectures are held at the T. F. Valencia Media Study Center, T.M. Kalaw, Rizal Park, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and sponsored by The Philippine Trust Company, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Smart Communication, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation, Metrobank Foundation, Security Bank, Land Bank of the Philippines, Bank of Commerce, Ayala Corporation, GMA 7 Network, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., San Miguel Corp. and Mayor Alfredo Lim.

Students and teachers of journalism and mass communication are again looking forward to a lively discussion which characterizes the lectures and open forum in the Valencia lectures. The lectures are now on its seventh week and will end on March 15.
