Jose & Wally’s Party for Juan and All

MANILA, Philippines - Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola will rock the Smart Araneta Coliseum once again when they return to the concert arena via Jose and Wally Concert: A Party For Juan And All! on March 15.

The second major concert of the two comic geniuses will double the fun and excitement as it features new acts, song numbers, costumes and guest performers.

Jose and Wally’s initial foray into the concert scene at the Big Dome scored a record-breaking attendance that merited an unprecedented recognition as “Comedy Concert Artists” from the management of the Araneta Coliseum last March 2, 2012. But this goes without saying that Jose and Wally don’t feel the heat of this new challenge before them.

“We can’t help but be nervous. Of course, at first, the viewers are curious about what we will do onstage. Never naman kaming naging conscious sa gagawin namin. Basta ibinigay lang naming ang kaalaman sa pagpapatawa. We follow whatever instructions given to us. ‘Yun nga lang, kumakawala kami kung minsan dahil ang comedy naman, mas natural, mas nakakatawa! Taimtim kaming magdarasal upang tangkilikin muli ng tao ang aming palabas,” Jose says with a laugh.

“We’ve been all-out in learning new songs and jokes. Hindi puwede kasing umulit dahil alam naman nating maraming tao ang sumaksi sa aming concert. Of course, we have a lot of surprises in store for the audience upang maging times two or times three ang pagpapatawa namin sa mga tao,” adds Wally.

The line-up of guests in Jose And Wally Concert: A Party For Juan And All will be led by Vic Sotto. Also joining the show are Bamboo, Jose’s rock idol, and Gary Valenciano, Wally’s big favorite. Their production number is one of the show’s major highlights.

Other big-name celebrities participating in the show are Ogie Alcasid, Jericho Rosales and Dingdong Dantes plus Pokwang, whose own riotous antics are touted to bring the house down.

New child sensation Ryzza Mae “Cha Cha” Dizon is herself making a rare concert appearance with Jose and Wally.

From the direction of Philip Lazaro and musical direction of Jimmy Antiporda, brace yourselves again as Jose and Wally as well as their celebrity guests set the Araneta Coliseum stage on fire on March 15.
