Sprinto shades for summer

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Summer season offers fashion fanatics a new season to trim down, brighten up and lighten up their wear.

This season is no different with spring/summer gear coming into the fashion focus. Fashion barometers have pinned down several trends for the 2013 Spring Summer season.

Summer trends include the rise of the ’60s — pop pieces with mini-skirts and bright shades reminiscent of the decade. Other trends include stripes, checkers and even traditional eastern prints, safari and metallic colors as looks to watch out for this 2013.

Fashion forward or not, summer is another great way for people to change up the wardrobe. While entire wardrobe changes can be costly per season, accessories provide a great way to add a little bit of summer to your attire, and sunglasses are one of the best ways to do that.

It doesn’t matter if you’re wearing a tuxedo, a summer safari khaki getup or in board shorts and slippers. Shades gain the universal nod for cool, especially during summer.

Sprinto, an international eyewear manufacturer, shares in the accessory philosophy.

The brand has been providing fashionable eyewear to the Philippine market since 2002 and has seen a recent rise in the mid-range sunglasses segment of the market. Sprinto is also present in Hong Kong, Dubai and Singapore.

Pawlo Misolas, marketing director for Sprinto, shares the sentiment, “We believe that eyewear should be fashionable, protective and affordable. I think we’ve got the right balance of all three.”

According to Misolas, Sprinto’s design and quality rival those of premium sunglass providers, but at half the price.
