Kids flock to Goin’ Bulilit auditions

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - More than a thousand kids showed that they have what it takes to be the next bulilit during the auditions for ABS-CBN’s kiddie gag show, Goin’ Bulilit (GB).

Held recently at the ABS-CBN compounds, the auditions saw kids dancing the Gangnam Style, singing the high notes of Sarah Geronimo’s songs, acting out heated teleserye scenes and of course, cracking their favorite pick-up lines. Bulilit graduate Nash Aguas will show the behind-the-scenes of the auditions in tomorrow’s episode.

According to executive producer Nomie Merana, after the first screening, a callback for the shortlisted kids will be staged. Afterwards, the lucky brand-new bulilits will immediately be a part of the show and replace the kids who will “graduate” this month.

Meanwhile, the GB kids will interview tomorrow, Feb. 17, DOH assistant secretary Dr. Eric Tayag for the funny segment Cute and A. The kids will also tickle everyone’s funny bone through Vulcanizing Shop, Ooh…Eee, Ang Corny and Stiff Neck.

Goin’ Bulilit airs Sundays after TV Patrol Weekend.
