Demandahan seeks justice for beaten woman

MANILA, Philippines - Anthony Taberna seeks legal help for a victim of physical injury and grave threat today at 4:45 p.m. on ABS-CBN’s Pinoy True Stories: Demandahan.

Zenaida suffered physical and emotional pain after being punched, slapped and lashed at by his male neighbor. He sought revenge for his son, who was supposedly hurt by Zenaida’s son.

Anthony also looks back on a 2009 Supreme Court decision on slight physical injuries and grave threat cases involving a man who was beaten up by drunk bullies, who hurt his friends. When his wife tried to report the incident to the police, one of the perpetrators poked a gun at her head and threated her.
