Bong takes a bow as Indio

MANILA, Philippines - Starting last night, Sen. Bong Revilla (photo) has started appearing as the adult character in Indio, the top-rating GMA epicserye airing after 24 Oras. The episode shows the transition of Indio from a kid (Jason Magbanua) to teenager (Alden Richards) to adult.  Also now appearing on the action-adventure is Jennylyn Mercado as Esperanza who first met Indio years back in Maynilad (as Manila was called during the Spanish Occupation). ‘I really prepared for this epic-serye,’ said Bong, ‘more than I ever did for my previous TV shows which were light, mostly comedy. It’s my first time to do a show of this magnitude.’
