Forever scores high in TV ratings

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The premiere of GMA 7’s latest drama series Forever topbilled by Heart Evangelista, Geoff Eigenmann and Gloria Romero scored high TV ratings last Jan. 21.

According to Nielsen TV Audience Measurement (based on overnight data), Forever posted a Mega Manila household rating of 15.3 percent against its counterpart program.

Forever, another original creation of the GMA Entertainment TV Group, is directed by Ricky Davao. It was an original concept by Jun Lana with headwriter Kit Villanueva- Langit.

Heart, who plays the young Adora, is excited about her new show and feels overwhelmed with the reviews and comments she has been receiving from fans and viewers. “I’m thrilled with my new show and I really liked the concept.”

Geoff, on the other hand, is happy with his TV project as his character Ramon falls in love with the rich Adora. He promises to love her forever after he was killed by Federico (Marc Abaya) in 1950s Quezon.

Through the power of a magic clock, Adora will be reunited with Ramon in the present time, but in the persona of Patrick, a painter. â€œMy role is very challenging and I’m excited that I’ll be working again with Heart. Of course, I feel very honored to be working with Ms. Gloria Romero.”

Gloria shares that she is glad portraying the Adora role. “I really like to thank GMA 7 for giving me this exceptional drama on television. It’s a total joy to work with a great cast and director.”

Also joining the Forever cast are Isabel Oli, Saab Magalona, Gian Magdangal and Candy Pangilinan with special appearances of Marc and Ronnie Henares.

Forever airs weekdays before 24 Oras.
