MANILA, Philippines - At 6’4”, he has been dubbed PBA’s Tower of Power. Because of his impressive playing skills, Benjie Paras (photo, with Tunay Na Buhay host Rhea Santos) was awarded both the Rookie of the Year and the Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards in 1989. He would garner more awards in his 15 years of playing professional basketball.

He also entered showbiz where he made a name for himself as a comedian. Aside from these talents, not many people know that he majored in BS at the University of the Philippines.
