Concert at the Park presents Pagdiriwang

MANILA, Philippines - The famed Philippine Baranggay Folk Dance Troupe opens the new year in Concert at the Park, tomorrow, Jan. 6, at 5 p.m., with a program titled Pagdiriwang in celebration of the National Parks Development Committee’s  (NPDC) 50th anniversary on Jan. 4. Minette Padilla is program host.

Concert at the Park is a regular public service project of the Department of Tourism under Sec. Ramon Jimenez, Jr.; the NPDC  under executive director Juliet Villegas; and the People’s Television Four. NPDC chief of cultural and public affairs Freddie Edos is executive in charge of the project. Gie Arnold writes the script.

For Pagdiriwang, the Philippine Baranggay Folk dance Troupe shall showcase an hour of festival dances in celebration of NPDC’s 50th year.

Admission is free.
