Run with the Stars Dec. 22
MANILA, Philippines - Upcoming singer-composer Anna Melissa will host Takbo Para sa T.R.O.P.A. - Run with the Stars at the Quezon Elliptical Road/Commonwealth Ave. tomorrow, Dec. 22, beginning 5 a.m. The event is spearheaded by Natural & Organic Way (NOW) and True Brew Media, Inc.
T.R.O.P.A. (Trash to Revenue, Occupation, Progress and Awareness Campaign) fun run will be for the benefit of the NOW Livelihood Centers, the Kapwa Ko, Mahal Ko Medical Mission and the victims of Typhoon Pablo. There will be 3K, 5K and 10K categories with the full support of the Quezon City government through Mayor Herbert Bautista. Gift items for the early birds will be given away, plus cash prizes for top finishers of the different categories.
Juan Rodrigo, VP for NOW, is inviting everyone to join. Registration is P150 per runner.
