Philippine Treasures now on DVD

Because of the discovery, sale of anthropomorphic or human-form jars became popular in the black market resulting to these being priced at hundreds of thousands of pesos. Sadly, little do this generation’s residents know the value the jars possess.

Finally, be smitten by the Hindu-Malayan Goddess Tara, a five-inch-tall golden statue found in Agusan province in 1917. Considered by some experts as one of the most spectacular artifacts of the Philippines, it is now under the safekeeping of the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, USA.
