Girl power in Extra Challenge

MANILA, Philippines - Extra Challenge contenders Geneva Cruz, Sheena Halili, Mystica and Rochelle Pangilinan get to experience just how hard it is to earn money this weekend in Navotas.

To help two families who have volunteered to take them in, the ladies go through a number of extra-challenging tasks.

In the challenge Gaano Kahigpit ang Kapit ng Gipit, the challengers must each cross a slackline suspended 30 ft. over the Navotas Bay. As if it’s just a simple routine, one of the ladies managed to cross not once but thrice on the 45-ft.-long rope. But not everyone is as lucky — who will fall and who will feel the urge to puke because of the towering height?

To top it all, Geneva, Sheena, Mystica and Rochelle vie for the title Reyna ng Banyera and of course, the whopping pot money.

Meanwhile, the children of Isla Pulo, who attend classes in a makeshift classroom, meet their newest pair of teachers — none other than Extra Challenge hosts Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera.

Extra Challenge airs Saturday and Sunday nights at 7:30 on GMA 7.
